Attention: GCSS-Army Users, The Army is currently in the second phase of the Army 365 rollout to transition @mail.mil e-mail capabilities to @army.mil before the closure of the Defense Enterprise E-Mail service. Once you have migrated to the army.mil e-mail domain, please notify your Access Administrator to update your HR email address within GCSS-Army in order to ensure that you continue to receive GCSS-Army notifications.

Attention: GCSS-Army Users, Effective Monday, 20 September, the GCSS-Army Finance Sustainment Team will be using a server selection capability for Year-End Close (YEC) background jobs. This will result in an additional pop-up window when any user schedules a job to run in background. This relates to ALL users who run background jobs and not just Finance users. When the pop-up window appears stating “Do you want to set a target for the job execution?” select the option “No” and the job will be scheduled and execute in background as normal. (Note: Most users do not run jobs in the background, but for those who do, select the “No” option.) This functionality will be turned off after YEC procedures are completed (est. mid-October) and the pop-up will no longer appear.

Attention: GCSS-Army Users, The PEO EIS ServiceNow team will be converting the Army Service Platform (https://service.peoeis.army.mil) and GCSS-Army Service Portal (https://service.peoeis.army.mil/gcssa) login to PIV Certificate only on 14 September 2021. Beginning early morning (EDT), 14 September, all help desk system users will be required to use their PIV Certificate when logging into the Army Service Platform. This change is being performed to conform with ARCYBER and ARMY directives. Using any other CAC Certificate to login after the change will result in a “User not Found” error from EAMS-A.

Attention: GCSS-Army Users, Army Additive Manufacturing Digital Thread (AM DT) will go live on 31 Aug 2021, replacing and expanding the Repository of Additive Parts for Tactical & Operational Readiness (RAPTOR) functionality. This will enable the force to search for AM-approved materials and items, search and download approved files and leverage 3D printing. Users must complete all required AM DT training to gain access. Failure to complete the training will result in not receiving access to LMP DT thus encountering an error. Users with established AM DT substitutions before 1200 EST, 30 Aug 21 will have access on 31 Aug 2021. Users set after the 30 Aug 21 timeline will be included in the interface between GCSS-Army and Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) and encounter a 24 Hour delay in access.
