ALMS is the official source of web-based training for GCSS-Army and registration is required. Note that new students should take the first four courses (Overview, Basic Navigation, Intermediate Navigation and Using Reports), followed by other courses in their functional area. The entire curriculum has been made available for ease of use.

It provides increased training opportunities for Soldiers, units, states, training centers, and schools. GuardU gives trainers a flexible capability to deliver online learning that can readily accommodate new technologies and different instructional methods. ARNG soldiers and civilians will utilize GuardU in lieu of the ALMS for pre-requisite GCSS-Army web-based training.

PEO EIS is well-known as a systems acquisition, development and integration center of excellence. Under the management of four deputy program executive officers, five directorates and many project/product managers, PEO EIS develops and fields a wide range of products and services that support the Army. PEO EIS is dedicated to supporting the war fighter and contributes to the global war on terror. Through its diverse programs, PEO EIS touches every soldier, every day. PEO EIS continually finds ways to serve the Army and the Department of Defense (DoD).

Their mission is to ensure automated logistics solutions for multifunctional logistics capability gaps are identified, documented, and programmed by Materiel Developer (MATDEV) representatives and fielded in the right quantity to the right Soldier and/or organizations. They Serve as the lead for tactical CSS logistical systems and represents the field users of the systems.

EDMO is the governing office to ensure that data management is executed at all logistics domain activities. EDMO supports the G4 to ensure the quality of logistics data meets defined requirements and, ‘fit to purpose’. EDMO supports GCSS-Army working with customers prior to fielding with data cleansing starting at the D-300 mark.

GFEBS provides timely, reliable, and accurate information, which improves cost management and control, allowing more time to perform financial analysis, and facilitate a more accurate understanding of the value and location of property. The GFEBS/GCSS-Army relationship under the federated approach is critical for achieving total cost of ownership and total auditability.

As part of the Single Army Logistics Enterprise (SALE) with GCSS-Army, LMP is the Army's core initiative to totally replace the two largest, most important Warfighting support National-level logistics systems; the inventory management Commodity Command Standard System (CCSS), and the depot and arsenal operations Standard Depot System (SDS).
