ALMS is the official source of web-based training for GCSS-Army and registration is required. Note that new students should take the first four courses (Overview, Basic Navigation, Intermediate Navigation and Using Reports), followed by other courses in their functional area. The entire curriculum has been made available for ease of use.
It provides increased training opportunities for Soldiers, units, states, training centers, and schools. GuardU gives trainers a flexible capability to deliver online learning that can readily accommodate new technologies and different instructional methods. ARNG soldiers and civilians will utilize GuardU in lieu of the ALMS for pre-requisite GCSS-Army web-based training.
